Overview

The Sky-Watcher Esprit 80ED on AZ-EQ5 Mount & Tripod combines premium optical performance with a stable, dual-mode mount for both visual observing and astrophotography. The Esprit 80ED features a high-precision air-spaced triplet objective with Sky-Watcher’s Metallic High-Transmission Coatings (MHTC), delivering excellent color correction, sharp contrast, and bright images. Its dual-speed Helinear track focuser provides smooth and accurate focusing, ideal for imaging. The included 2-element field flattener ensures a flat imaging field across the sensor. Paired with the AZ-EQ5 Go-To mount and pier tripod, users gain accurate tracking, Go-To navigation, and flexible EQ/AZ operation. A complete, ready-to-use astrophotography package.
