Can I supply my own car audio or dash cam gear for installation?
YES. We offer a dedicated fitting-only service for customer-supplied head units, speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, dash cams, and UHF radios, provided the gear is compatible with your vehicle.
What happens if a product I supplied turns out to be faulty or incompatible?
We will explain to you that there is a fault or incompatibility with your product. We will invoice a minimum workshop fee or charge for the hours worked so far, and provide a detailed service report that you can present to your place of purchase for warranty or replacement.
Do you guarantee your installation work?
YES. All installation labour performed by our technicians comes backed by our Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee.
Does Ryda offer on-site installation and in-store installation both?
We perform standard installations In-Store at our Petersham workshop. Off-Site / Mobile Installation is available strictly via negotiation (e.g., for fleet or commercial clients).
How long does a standard installation take?
A standard head unit, reverse camera, or dash cam installation typically takes between 2 to 4 hours.
Do you install gear in boats, 4WDs, and commercial vehicles?
YES. We routinely install audio, power, UHF, and safety systems in passenger vehicles, 4WDs, commercial vans, and marine vessels.
Can you replace my factory speakers?
YES. We replace factory-fitted speakers with upgraded aftermarket options across the door, dash and rear-deck positions, fitted using vehicle-specific adapters and mounts for a clean, factory-look finish. Sound quality upgrades are one of the most common installs we do.
Do you install subwoofers and amplifiers?
Yes, we install both. Subwoofers are fitted as boot-mounted, under-seat, or enclosed builds depending on your vehicle and space, and amplifiers are wired with correct fusing and power protection for safe, reliable performance. We can also supply and fit a DSP alongside your amp for a properly tuned system.
