Overview

The Sky-Watcher 120/600 AZ3 is a 120mm Achromatic Refractor Telescope featuring a short focal length of 600mm. This shorter tube, in comparison to telescopes of similar classes, provides a wider field of view with standard eyepieces. The compact length of the telescope enhances convenience for packing and storage when not in use or during transit.

The mount features fine tracking adjustment knobs for both the horizontal (azimuth) and vertical (altitude) axes. Additionally, the Sky-Watcher 120/600 AZ3 can be utilized as a daytime terrestrial telescope.

With no mirrors involved, a refractor delivers a generally sharper image, and there's no secondary mirror shadow, enhancing its suitability for terrestrial viewing when used with the provided 45° erecting image diagonal.
