Overview

The Sky-Watcher 12" Dobsonian is a substantial Newtonian reflector telescope boasting an f/5 focal ratio, making it perfect for extensive field and deep-sky observation. Its significant aperture enhances light-gathering power, enabling clear views of prominent deep-sky objects such as nebulae and star clusters. Tension Control System

The Tension Control System enables you to customize the friction setting, adjusting the resistance for smooth movement of the tube on the wooden mount. This is achieved by balancing the optical tube with specially designed handles on the base, ensuring optimal friction and tension. This design allows the tube to move easily when nudged or to stay securely in position, providing the desired level of resistance at all times.
