The Sky-Watcher EQ-AL55i is an ideal equatorial mount for entry to intermediate users seeking a reliable platform for both observing and astrophotography. With a 10kg payload capacity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth SynScan control, and ASCOM compatibility, it provides smooth tracking and flexible connectivity. Based on the EQM-35 design, it features improved enclosed motor housings and adjustable counterweight bar positions, making it suitable for lower latitude setups. The SynScan Go-To system offers precise pointing and access to 42,900 celestial objects, simplifying object location and sky exploration. Stable, versatile, and easy to operate, the EQ-AL55i is well-suited for building a capable imaging rig.
