Overview

The DEH-X7850BT will connect and control your music directly from a smartphone, USB input, CD, or Auxiliary-in.

Pioneer has beefed-up Bluetooth technology, allowing you to simultaneously connect and control 2 x phones in the car. That’s right, you can now connect 2 x phones via Bluetooth, at the same time, and enjoy hands-free phone calls or music streaming. Even better, the auto connection function automatically pairs both phones so incoming calls from either of the paired phones can be answered.

Alternatively, you can directly connect your iPhone or Android smartphone via USB for music playback and charging.

Love Spotify? Well, it’s now a dedicated audio source on the DEH-X7850BT menu. This is a really handy feature for those of us who love pumping a Spotify playlist in the car because the DEH-X7850BT will directly control content from the Spotify app on an iPhone (via USB or Bluetooth) or Android smartphone (via Bluetooth). No need to touch your phone; you can play, pause and skip tracks, or even browse playlists, albums and radio stations, using the control buttons on the DEH-X7850BT.

You can now simultaneously connect and control 2 x phones via Bluetooth. This is perfect for drivers who have two phones (work + personal), or when travelling with other passengers. The auto connection function automatically pairs the two phones so incoming calls can be picked up by either of the paired phones

Spotify is now a dedicated audio source, allowing you to directly control the Spotify app on a connected iPhone (via USB or Bluetooth) or Android device (via Bluetooth).  Forget having to touch your phone, you can play, pause and skip tracks, browse playlists, albums and radio stations on the go using the head unit controls.

SEPARATED COLOUR CUSTOMIZATION

Separated Colour Customization lets the user match the receiver illumination to their interior lighting. Both the key illumination and screen colour can be selected independently.

SIRI® EYES FREE

To minimise distractions even more while driving iPhone users can use voice commands to ask Siri questions to access many iPhone functions such as music selection; making phone calls; and listening to text messages, calendar information, and reminders. Users with an iPhone® 4s or newer can take advantage of Siri® Eyes Free functionality with a touch of a button. When activated, Siri's voice prompts play through the vehicle’s speakers and the user’s commands and questions are received and transmitted to the receiver using the external microphone.
