Overview
The Tamron SP 150-600mm G2 (Generation 2) ultra-telephoto lens offers upgraded optical performance for handheld shooting with exceptional definition. A successor to the SP 150-600mm (Model A011), this new lens enhances overall optical performance, AF speed, VC (Vibration Compensation) capabilities, and introduces features like Fluorine Coating, FLEX ZOOM LOCK, and compatibility with 1.4x and 2x teleconverters.
Rebuilt to meet Tamron's strict quality standards, the lens combines smart engineering, high performance, durability, and user-friendliness. The optical improvements include three LD (Low Dispersion) lens elements for the elimination of chromatic aberrations, upgraded construction with 21 elements in 13 groups, and anti-reflection technologies (eBAND and BBAR Coating) that improve light transmission and eliminate ghosting and flare even in challenging lighting conditions.
The lens offers greater versatility with a reduced Minimum Object Distance (MOD) of 2.2m, enabling tele-macro photography and producing dramatic bokeh. This Tamron lens is designed to meet the demands of photographers seeking top-tier optical quality and functionality.
