Overview

The SLIK AF-1100 E tripod head uses a patented design that allows the trigger handle to release tension on the ball when it is squeezed and lock the ball head in any position by simply releasing the trigger handle. This innovative action allows the camera to be pointed in almost any direction with ease, making a tripod-mounted camera feel like more of an extension of the body.

The AF 1100 E is compact and light-weight, making it a perfect fit for today’s high-end digital point and shoot cameras, lightweight DSLRs and Mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras (ILCs).

A top-mounted bubble level makes levelling the camera quick and easy. An easy to use all-metal quick release system makes mounting the camera fast and simple with an easy-to-use rectangular plate that sits in a shoe that can rotate 360° and lock facing in any direction.

The AF-1100E quick release is shared with the following SLIK tripod heads:

• SBH-200DQ ball head (separate or included with the PRO 340 BH)
• SBH-280E ball head
• SH-707E multi-action “EZ” pan head (PRO 330 EZ, PRO 340 EZ, SPRINT PRO EZ)
• SH-704E 3-way pan head.

It is now possible to have several different styles of SLIK heads for different shooting situations that all share the same quick release plate.
