Overview

The Sky-Watcher Wave 100i is a compact strain wave EQ/AZ Go-To mount designed for visual observing and astrophotography. Weighing only 4.3 kg, it supports up to 10 kg without counterweights and 15 kg with them. It can also be configured to hold two optical tubes using an optional second dovetail saddle. The harmonic drive system provides precise tracking with minimal backlash, while the RA clutch and electromagnetic brake add safety and easier balancing. The Wave 100i works with the SynScan hand controller or app, offering Go-To pointing to 42,900 objects and tracking at Sidereal, Lunar, or Solar rates.
