Overview

The Sky-Watcher Wave 100i is a compact strain wave (harmonic) mount designed for portable precision. It weighs only 4.3kg yet supports payloads of 10kg without a counterweight and 15kg with one. It features dual saddle compatibility (Vixen and Losmandy), dual AZ/EQ modes, and a 300:1 transmission ratio for smooth and accurate motion. The mount offers a maximum slew rate of 2400x (10° per second) with sidereal, lunar, and solar tracking support. The bundle includes a carbon fibre tripod, extension tube, and the Quattro 150/600 Photo Newtonian OTA with dual-speed focuser and coma corrector. Covered by a 5-year Sky-Watcher warranty.
