Overview

The Sky-Watcher EQ6-R is a refined, belt-driven equatorial mount designed to reduce backlash and deliver smooth, accurate tracking for both visual astronomy and astrophotography. It features improved azimuth and altitude adjustment knobs, a convenient carrying handle, and a wide latitude range for versatile setup. The integrated polar scope and fine-tuning controls support precise polar alignment, enhancing long-exposure imaging performance. Equipped with the SynScan Go-To system, it provides access to 42,900 celestial objects and automated slewing for effortless navigation of the night sky. A built-in SNAP port enables camera shutter control, making it ideal for complex imaging sequences and deep-sky exploration.
