The Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi GoTo Mount & Tripod is a versatile, compact alt-azimuth mount designed for both casual and serious astronomers. It comes with an adjustable aluminum tripod featuring 1.25-inch legs and an accessory tray, supporting payloads up to 11 lbs while weighing only 8.6 lbs fully assembled. The mount features SynScan GoTo technology with a database of over 42,900 celestial objects, including Messier, Caldwell, NGC, IC, and SAO catalogs. Built-in WiFi allows control via the SynScan Pro app on iOS and Android. Freedom Find dual encoder technology ensures precise tracking of sidereal, lunar, and solar objects, making it ideal for portable astronomy setups.
