Overview

The Sky-Watcher 0.77x Reducer/Flattener is designed specifically for the Esprit 150ED telescope to enhance astrophotography performance. By reducing the focal ratio from f/7 to f/5.4, it increases imaging speed, allowing significantly shorter exposure times while maintaining image brightness and detail. The focal length is reduced to 810mm, providing a wider field of view ideal for capturing larger deep-sky objects. With a corrected 36mm image circle, it supports APS-C sensor formats without edge distortion. The reducer offers a flexible 90mm back focus, or 55mm when using the included spacer and M48 adapter, and features integrated 2" filter threads for convenient filter attachment.
