Overview

The SPH-C10BT is Pioneer’s flagship smartphone* receiver and is designed to let you use the features of your smartphone in a safe, direct and convenient way that you have never seen before.

Just place your smartphone in the integrated cradle, and it will transform into an extension of your head unit. Using direct access keys, you can use your favourite apps without touching your smartphone, helping to ensure a smooth and safe ride wherever you go. Add to this, when connected with the new Pioneer Smart Sync app, various colour and sound adjustments offer a superior customised in-car experience.

Utilising the Pioneer Smart Sync app, you can connect to a wide variety of commonly used applications, including various music and mapping apps such as Spotify®# and Google Maps™#. It lets you easily access all the compatible apps you use on a daily basis without distracting you from the road.

The Pioneer Smart Sync Safety Features assist your safety by making every operation more intuitive. Voice recognition and optional parking sensors support safer driving. The SPH-C10BT can be connected to Pioneer’s ND-PS1 optional parking sensor kit.

Simply connect your smartphone via wireless or wired connection, and pair it with the free Pioneer Smart Sync app to enjoy a smarter, connected driving experience.

Many operations and features require the user to download the Pioneer Smart Sync app from the relevant app store.

PIONEER SMART SYNC APP
Supporting the Pioneer Smart Sync App enables you to fully utilise the power of your smartphone, it expands, evolves, and furthers every moment you spend in your car. Including the ability to playback music from your favourite streaming source, allow music playback from up to 5 devices, make calls, listen to messages, navigate to a destination, use voice recognition and tune your audio system*.

CUSTOMIZABLE OBD-II WIDGETS
The Pioneer Smart Sync v4.0 app now enables the display of widgets for vehicle information including engine performance, live data and vehicle diagnostic codes to show repair needs. With a compatible Pioneer in-dash receiver, by connecting your smartphone via Bluetooth to a compatible OBD-II code reader*** (optional and sold separately) plugged into the vehicle’s OBD-II port, you can read and clear diagnostic codes and view drive information, average speed, economy and more straight from the Pioneer Smart Sync v4.0 app.

***Note: OBD-II code readers are not Pioneer products and Pioneer is not responsible for their use. There may be risks in the case of faulty performance of an OBD-II code reader including potential vehicle battery drain or introducing security vulnerabilities. Alexa lives in the cloud, so it’s always getting smarter, adding new capabilities that are delivered to your device automatically.
