Overview
The dual battery slots enable hot swapping while the camera is in use, preventing downtime during long recordings or extended time-lapse sequences. It is dust and moisture-resistant to complement the camera's design and supports in-grip charging with the EH-7P AC adapter.

The grip serves two primary functions: it extends the camera's operating time by providing an additional power source and allows you to insert an extra EN-EL15/a/b/c battery pack into the battery compartment.
