SUPERIOR POINT-IMAGE REPRODUCTION
Adoption of three aspherical lens elements effectively controls sagittal coma flare to minimize distorted images of point light sources, while also suppressing color fringing caused by chromatic aberration and unnatural depiction of bokeh. This enables point-light reproduction more beautiful than that perceived with the naked eye.
EXCELLENT TOLERANCE FOR BACKLIGHT
The use of Nano Crystal Coat and ARNEO Coat, Nikon’s original high-performance anti-reflection coating systems, effectively suppresses ghost and flare, regardless of the direction from which light enters the lens.
