Working with the centre column in the horizontal position on Manfrotto tripod models MDEVE tripod family has always caused a slight difficulty, in that the head remains at 90° to the ground making it more difficult to position the camera correctly for shooting. The new Manfrotto 553 enables you to have the most stable platform possible for filming. Manfrotto also kept equipment weight to the bare minimum by using lightweight materials such as aluminum and carbon fibre. The Manfrotto 553 is ideal for single tube leg profile made of round-section aluminum or carbon fibre.
