Overview
The Lensbaby Soft Focus II optic is a versatile and improved version of the original Soft Focus optic. It offers an aperture range from f/2.5 to f/22 and is compatible with both current and legacy Lensbaby lens bodies. This optic features a unique magnetic aperture system with a 12-blade manually adjustable internal aperture.
At its brightest apertures, the Soft Focus II produces impressionistic images with subtle sharp details. It renders a soft pastel color palette and delivers a remarkably flat field of focus, allowing for unique and impossible-to-achieve images. When stopped down to f/8 or smaller, it creates beautifully detailed and traditionally sharp images, especially on full-frame sensors and 35mm film cameras. The optic's optical effect can be easily adjusted from impressionistic and glowy to contrasty and sharp by manipulating the 12-blade aperture on the front of the optic.
