Overview

The Kicker KEYLOC Smart Line-Out Converter is an advanced DSP-controlled integration solution designed to connect aftermarket amplifiers and processors to modern factory audio systems. Using KICKER’s innovative KEY™ algorithm, the KEYLOC automatically analyses your vehicle’s factory audio signal and restores it to a clean, full-range output — delivering the best possible sound for your upgraded system.

DSP-Controlled Integration: Automatically detects factory signal processing and corrects it for improved audio quality.

KEY™ Algorithm Technology: Analyses and restores audio signals by correcting crossovers, EQ, time delay and all-pass filters.

Frequency Detection LEDs: Instantly identify available signal ranges from speaker wires (Low 20–200Hz / Mid 200Hz–2kHz / High 2kHz–20kHz).

Flexible Correction Control: Option to retain factory time delay and imaging or defeat it for custom

Factory audio systems often include built-in crossovers, EQ curves, time delays, and all-pass filters that can distort the signal when connecting aftermarket gear. The KEYLOC automatically detects and corrects these elements, producing a smooth, balanced and uncoloured signal ideal for amplifiers and audio processors.
