The Canon EOS R8 Mark II with RF 24-105mm IS STM Kit pairs a 24.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor and DIGIC X processor with a versatile standard zoom. Five-axis in-body stabilisation delivers up to 7.5 stops of coordinated shake correction, while Dual Pixel CMOS AF II tracks people, animals and vehicles. The kit covers 24-105mm for travel, landscapes and everyday shooting.

• 24.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor – The 24.2MP full-frame sensor captures rich detail, natural colours and pleasing background bokeh. The larger light-gathering surface delivers cleaner results in low light than smaller sensors.
• Five-axis in-body image stabilisation – The camera adds five-axis in-body IS, delivering up to 7.5 stops of coordinated shake correction at the centre and 7.0 stops at the periphery. This lets you shoot sharp handheld images without a tripod.
• Dual Pixel CMOS AF II – Dual Pixel CMOS AF II detects and tracks people, animals and vehicles. Eye, face, head and body tracking keeps your subject in focus, working in light levels down to -7.5 EV.
• 40fps burst with pre-continuous shooting – Electronic shutter continuous shooting reaches up to 40fps. Pre-continuous shooting records up to 20 frames before the shutter is fully pressed, helping secure the decisive moment.
• 4K 60p video from 6K oversampling – The camera records 4K UHD 60p oversampled from 6K data, alongside Full HD at up to 180p for slow motion. Canon Log 3 and in-camera LUT support give you flexibility in colour grading.
• Register People Priority – The camera can register up to 10 faces in-camera. Registered individuals are prioritised for autofocus tracking in crowded scenes.
• 16 colour filters – Colour filters cover both stills and video with 16 options, including NegativeFilmtone and PositiveFilmtone. Filter strength adjusts from 0 to 100% in 10% increments.
• Vari-angle touchscreen and EVF – A 3.0-inch vari-angle touchscreen with 1.62 million dots pairs with a 2.36-million-dot electronic viewfinder. The screen supports touch-based menu magnification and touch-and-drag AF.
• Compact and lightweight – The body weighs 546g with battery and card, measuring 131.4 x 90.0 x 79.7mm. The kit lens adds just 395g, making the combined setup easy to carry.
• RF 24-105mm IS STM kit lens – The included RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM covers wide-angle through to short telephoto. It weighs 395g and offers 5 stops of optical image stabilisation.
• Coordinated stabilisation – The lens offers 5 stops of optical IS on its own. Paired with the body's IBIS, coordinated control delivers up to 7.5 stops of shake correction for handheld shooting and video.
• STM autofocus for video – The leadscrew-type STM motor provides smooth, quiet autofocus during video recording. It supports focus breathing correction with compatible cameras.
• Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity – Wi-Fi 2.4GHz and 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.3 and a USB-C port support wireless transfer, remote control and power delivery.
