EOS R3 is designed to capture objects moving at high speed and built to meet the exacting demands of professional shooters, with ultra-responsiveness, high sensitivity, high reliability and durability.
Features
At the heart of the EOS R3 lies a brand-new 24.1MP back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor, working in concert with our world-class DIGIC X image processor. Together, they deliver the fast readout and processing speed required for RAW files to be captured at 30fps, with full AF/AE tracking.
Taking object-tracking capabilities to new heights, EOS R3 features the people and animal AF tracking modes (including birds) found in the EOS R5, and now adds tracking of cars and motorbikes – perfect for motorsports shooters.
Featuring Canon's unique Eye Control AF technology, the EOS R3 focuses where you are looking. This unparalleled control over AF allows the camera to react as quickly as you do – responding fast to ever-changing scenes.
Benefit from up to 8-stops³ of protection against camera shake with Image Stabilizer (IS) technology. The camera’s In-Body IS works in tandem with the Optical IS built into many RF lenses, letting you shoot handheld in dim light or while using longer shutter speeds.
Capture oversampled 4K or RAW video footage internally to a CFexpress card with Canon Log 3 for greater dynamic range and colour grading possibilities. Crucially, the same object recognition available to stills photographers is also available to videographers.
