Overview
The BlackVue ELITE 8-2CH is a dual-channel dash camera system designed to provide high-resolution front and rear recording for comprehensive coverage around your vehicle. Both cameras record in 2K QHD at 30fps and feature 5MP Sony STARVIS image sensors, delivering detailed footage across a wide 142° viewing angle. Dual HDR helps balance bright and dark areas within the frame for improved image detail in challenging lighting conditions.
Built-in Wi-Fi supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz connections, allowing convenient wireless access to the camera and recorded footage. Integrated GPS records location and driving information, while the built-in G-sensor detects impacts and other sudden movements.
For low-light recording, the ELITE 8-2CH features enhanced night vision and ultra-low-lux recording to help maintain image clarity when driving after dark. Power-saving parking mode provides additional vehicle monitoring while parked, with impact and motion detection helping identify relevant events.
The system includes built-in power management and comes supplied with a 64GB microSD card. Storage can be expanded with compatible microSD cards up to 512GB, providing additional capacity for extended recording.

Both front & rear cameras feature the latest technology, with SONY STARVIS™ 2 and High Dynamic Range (HDR) providing intelligent video optimisation and improving low-light performance, setting the standard for the next generation of BlackVue dash cams.
24/7 Protection with Smart Parking Mode
Smart protection for every situation. Weeks of protection with new Power Saving Mode. BlackVue offers the best Parking Mode protection whether you use your vehicle daily or leave it parked for long periods of time.
Buffered Parking Mode
Motion Detection: records a 1-minute buffered video whenever motion is detected by the front or rear camera.
Time-lapse: records constantly at 1 frame per second so each 1 minute video covers 30 minutes of real time.
In both modes, the dash cam also records buffered Event clips in case of impact (started 10 seconds before the Event)
*Buffered recording is not supported in Power Saving Mode.
Power Saving Mode
The ELITE 8 wakes up on impact then goes back to standby mode after 1 min recording (buffered recording not supported). Provides up to several weeks of protection (up to two months) when hardwired to a vehicle’s battery and up to over 12 months when powered by a BlackVue Ultra Battery (B-130A or B-130X).
Ideal when leaving your vehicle unattended for extended periods of time.
*Total Parking Mode time may vary depending on frequency of events and external factors such as temperature variations.
