Essential Connectivity

Atomos Connect delivers crucial network and SDI connectivity to the Ninja Ultra while ushering in ultra-efficient cloud workflows. Designed to seamlessly attach to the rear of the Ninja Ultra, it enables SDI camera connections, SDI-to-HDMI conversion, and offers Wi-Fi 6E and 1GbE Ethernet capabilities. Featuring AirGlu wireless synchronization and compatibility with the AtomRemote App, it provides a cost-effective and practical solution for streaming, transferring, and editing in the cloud.

ProRes RAW for Camera to Cloud Workflows

Capture pristine recordings in ProRes RAW at resolutions up to 4K 60p, while simultaneously recording in HD 60p using H.265 compression. This dual approach offers the best of both worlds, allowing you to optimize productivity. Save your master copy in ProRes RAW, perfectly primed for post-production, while utilizing your H.265 copy for efficient camera-to-cloud tasks.

Original Camera Filenames Over SDI

In the past, camera-to-cloud workflows depended on aligning filenames with AtomOS-generated hero and proxy files. Now, through collaboration with ARRI, Canon, RED, and Sony, Atomos C2C files seamlessly match the original in-camera (OCF) filenames. This streamlined process simplifies the matching of C2C or SSD proxy files during editing with the corresponding camera files, whether you're working on the camera itself or through Atomos. The choice is yours.

Record Higher Quality Media. Publish Instantly

The latest 4K camera-to-cloud mode empowers you to capture and upload H.265 video with superior quality and higher frame rates. H.265 files offer the advantage of being half the size of H.264 media, making them perfectly suited for camera-to-cloud workflows while delivering excellent results for immediate sharing on social media, sports coverage, or news reporting. It's the quickest route to get your video in front of your audience (subscription to Atomos Cloud Studio required). Additionally, this mode proves highly beneficial for recording proxies at up to 4K 60p, aligning seamlessly with the original in-camera (OCF) file.

Multiple Codecs

The new Ninja line includes the following codecs free of charge, giving you more options to choose the ideal codec for your projects.

The Apple ProRes codec is pre-activated to use out of the box, so you can start shooting immediately. To activate the H.265 and DNx codecs, visit my.atomos.com to register your product, then follow the simple online instructions to activate these codecs for free using an activation token system.

To activate the Apple ProRes RAW codec you need to go to the my.atomos.com portal. There is a small additional step to get the correct activation token and access the codec for free. You simply need to plug in your compatible RAW camera to complete the process. You only need to do this once to unlock this super-flexible and unique codec in perpetuity.
