Overview

3 Legged Thing Legends Ray Kit is a travel tripod system with AirHed Vu Ball Head and QR-Octa quick release plate. 3LT's RAY tripod is inspired by the life and works of Ray Barbee - Pro skater, musician and photographer. Designed with smooth lines and effortless style, Ray is a new level of innovation and engineering.

Ray is a commitment to the unconventional. The most modular and stylish tripod we have ever created. With 3 detachable legs, a removable and reversible column, and multiple mounting points, Ray is a new breed of tripod.

The AirHed Vu is the first tripod head in 3 Legged Thing range with a vision window to allow users to see the internal mechanism that locks the ball into place. It comes complete with the Arca-Swiss compatible QR-Octa plate and features a 360-degree panning base, knurled knobs for extra grip and leverage and the knobs are colour coded. The copper knob on the AirHed releases the QR-Octa plate from the tripod. Thanks to internal mechanisms it can support heavier cameras and longer lenses.

Rapid Latch
The new Rapid-Latch angle adjustment was designed to be easy to adjust, even for those with impairments, or wearing thick gloves.

O-Pads
Our new O-Pads provide better grip, torque and water dispersant than any other leg lock on the planet.

A Range of Footwear
Ray has detachable rubber Bootz which can be replaced with any of our foot accessories, for maximum stability on any terrain, including our DOCZ foot stabiliser.

Through The Vu Window
The AirHed Vu's casing features a viewing panel that enables users to see the internal mechanism.

Detachable Clamp
The AirHed Vu's twist clamp can also be removed and used on any 3/8"-16 threaded device. The clamp includes security slots and a bubble level.
