Overview

3 Legged Thing Brian 2.0 Kit is a travel tripod system with AirHed Neo 2.0 Ball Head and QR-Octa quick release plate.

Returning with a new look, Brian 2.0 is a refreshed version of our iconic Punks travel tripod, Brian 2.0 provides remarkable stability and rigidity whilst remaining lightweight and compact.

The tallest tripod in the Punks range Brian 2.0's full height stands at 1.86 m / 73.2" and can get to as low as 10.6 cm / 4.1" (without AirHed Neo 2.0).

The AirHed Neo 2.0 is a beautifully crafted, Arca-Swiss compatible, multi-functional ball-head and has a detachable twist clamp that can be mounted directly on the Tri-mount. With a refined casing and precision-engineered aircraft-grade magnesium alloy and stainless steel fixings, it features knurled knobs that help to improve grip and leverage. The ball can be tightened into a variety of positions, and the entire head can be rotated 360 ̊ on its base.

For Punks 2.0 we've given our leg locks a facelift, with a fierce new look they boast improved engineering and increased stability.

Three times the charm
Brian 2.0 like all our twist-lock tripods features 3 detachable tripod legs. When each leg is fully extended it individually measures 1.39 m / 54.7" and can be used as a microphone boom or light stand. This also enables conversion to a table-top tripod with the addition of 3LT's Vanz tripod footwear (sold separately).

3 Legged Thing Web Exclusive (Legs Only)
Featuring a 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 reversible bolt to allow for any tripod head with a 3/8” thread to be attached or for you to attach a camera or lighting accessory directly.

True Travel Tripod
Brian 2.0 has legs that counterfold around the column making him a compact 44.5 cm / 16.5” – ready to travel anywhere.

3 Detachable Legs
Like their Pro Range 2.0 and Legends Range counterparts, the new Punks 2.0 tripods boast three detachable legs, enabling conversion to monopods or booms, and with the addition of optional Vanz tripod feet (sold separately) can be made into tabletop tripods

Max Load to Weight Ratio of 8:1
Brian 2.0 can support weights of almost 8 times his own weight. With a 14kg payload, Brian 2.0 is capable of supporting a wide range of camera equipment.

Locked and Loaded
We’ve given our leg locks a facelift. With a fierce new look, they boast improved grip and leverage due to a combination of rubber pads and knurling. We've added weight to our leg locks lowering their centre of gravity which makes the tripod more stable to allow use in a multitude of conditions.

Shaping The Future
Our patented Tri-Mount plate has been refined and offers three hollowed spurs for accessory attachments, and enables Brian 2.0 to fold up, even when the column is detached.

A Range of Footwear
Brian 2.0 has detachable rubber Bootz, which can be replaced with any of our foot accessories, for maximum stability on any terrain.
