The adapter installs into the camera's shoe mount and strap slot via an m2.5 screw for further security to prevent twisting. Featuring a rubber pad on the bottom to prevents any scratching. There is a slot for hand or shoulder strap on the side of the adapter. The shoe adapter is especially helpful when you are shooting from the front of the camera for vlogging or selfies.
