Overview

The most modern-looking dash cam on the market, the slim vertical front camera of the Navman MiVue™ ALTA DC fits perfectly into any new model car, like it rolled out of the factory with it. The absence of a screen and the perfectly angled mount means it can be tucked away, virtually out of sight.

The Navman MiVue™ ALTA DC is perfect for any new owner wanting a dash cam that feels like it came with the car, or anyone who wants to update the look of their current vehicle. The unique vertical design of the front camera provides flexibility in how it is positioned on the windscreen. Footage can be viewed, downloaded and shared instantly over WIFI with our MiVue™ Pro app on your phone with location GPS tagged, and driving speed and direction of impact captured on the video, via the 3-Axis G-Sensor. Both front and rear cameras record in Full HD 1080P at 30FPS with optimised day/night recording, and the interior rear camera comes with an 8-metre cable which allows for installation in even the largest 4WD or family wagon. Audible safety camera alerts (including school zones) can be easily updated over WIFI every month, if needed. If you add a SmartBox (sold separately), the MiVue™ ALTA DC will continue recording in parking mode when the engine is switched off and motion is detected around your vehicle. And it comes with a 32GB Endurance SD card.

GPS Tagged Video
Record your position wherever you go. The built-in high sensitivity GPS receiver automatically records your driving information including location, direction and speed.

EZYSHARE Instantly via WIFI
Records the event and automatically sends the footage to your smart phone via WiFi. In the instance that you are not connected via WiFi to your smart phone, the event will store on the camera and upload automatically when you are next connected for back up or to share your experiences on social media via the MiVue™ Pro app.

Event Recording Mode
When the MiVue™ detects sudden changes in motion or an impact, the device instantly saves a protected video of the event for future analysis.

3-Axis G-Sensor
The 3-Axis G-Sensor, in the event of a collision shows the direction the impact came from, providing more information on how an impact happened.

Smart and Low Power Parking Modes*
When used with the Smartbox accessory, the built-in motion and shock detection technology, Smart mode can automatically start recording if your car is hit while parked. When used in low power parking mode, you can be protected for longer as the MiVue™ is in standby mode and wakes up when shock is detected.

Super Capacitor

MiVue™ Manager

Micro SD Card Memory Expansion up to 128GB
Compatible with a minimum of Class 10/UHS-1  designed for Dash camera recording up to 128GB microSD card. If you drive more frequently or use parking mode, for reliability over longer recording periods and optimal recording performance, Navman recommends an endurance rated memory card.
