Absolute clarity. Unmatched purity and richness Pioneer’s PRS series takes you past the stage, through the orchestra pit, beyond the studio - right to the heart of where music is being made.
The brilliance of the highs, the rich distinctiveness of the lows, the mid-range smoothness and precision – Pioneer Reference Series (PRS) blends them with balance and consistency into an intensely pleasurable listening experience.
Turn the volume down and you’ll lose nothing of the quality in softness. Turn it up and feel the power touch every cell. The PRS range is the ultimate expression of Pioneer’s achievements in car audio.
If you really care about your music, there’s no other choice. Prepare to be amazed!
An Industry Standard for Amplification
With CEA-2006, amplifier power output is now easier to interpret. CEA-2006 compliance tells you that the power output meets certain guidelines. This allows you to more accurately compare products across various brands. Pioneer’s CEA-2006 compliant amps meet these standards comfortably, reinforcing our engineering integrity. But don’t make your choice solely on power figures – sound quality is a harder concept to measure and can often be overlooked. Put your faith in the market leader and let your ears be the judge.
Multiple Amplifier Synchronisation System
In amplifier system building, M.A.S.S. is the next step beyond bridgeable output. Bridgeable output allows two channels of a stereo amp to drive a mono output, but now we can drive two mono amplifiers to a single load. The internal circuitry allows each of the amp pair to deliver one half of the waveform "swing", so that one amplifier looks after the positive and one the negative. So you are using two amplifiers for a single voice coil, or even four amps with a DVC (Dual Voice Coil) sub.
Connection is simple and straightforward, with various system configurations available. Adjustment at the amplifier just requires the setting of the input switching. M.A.S.S. is a great feature when too much power is not quite enough!
SPL Champion Series
Pioneer SPL amplifiers and subwoofers have proven their credentials in the DB Drag competitons that are a key part of the car audio scene in the US. Sound Pressure Level is a challenge that puts equipment to the ultimate test; to be able to generate high decibel outputs, often for prolonged periods in Death Match conditions. The models under this banner today are successors to those first-generation products which were campaigned with great success by Scott Owens and Team Edge Audio over several seasons.
The amplifiers feature Multiple Amplifier Synchronisation System, Remote Variable Bass Boost, Subsonic Filter and sophisticated crossover selections. The subwoofers have Carbon Fibre cones and massive magnets. This range is the ideal choice where seriously big bass is firmly on the agenda.
