Seems that this device has a seroius flaw in that the maps get upgated via MSN Direct. Now while it seems that MSN direct is only available in capital cities, the really bad news is that by January 2012 (les than 2 years away) MSN Direct will cease to operate entirely. For an expensive piece of kit like this Pioneer really didnt do its homework very well, making the AVIC-F900BT pretty much useless after that date. Good one Pioneer, avoid.
