Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX65 Digital Camera - Black
Why Buy Me
Huge 12.1 Mega Pixels for high quality images
5x Optical Zoom
High Definition Movie Support
Intelligent Auto Mode
Quality Leica Vario-Elmar Wide Angle Lens
Panasonic DMC-FX65 - 25mm Wide Angle Lens The 25mm wide-angle
lens in this super-compact camera captures almost twice the area of an
ordinary 35mm lens, making it ideal for shooting group photos indoors
or wide landscapes outdoors. The 5x optical zoom pulls distant subjects
up close.
Panasonic DMC-FX65 - Intelligent Auto
Power O.I.S: Advanced feature. Now twice as effective in compensating for blurring caused by hand shake.
Intelligent Scene Selector: Selects the optimal scene mode for the situation.
Face
Recognition: Face Recognition "remembers" faces that have been
registered in the camera from previous shots, and optimizes the focus
and exposure to capture them perfectly.
Intelligent Iso: Helps prevent blurring caused by subject motion.
Intelligent Exposure: Adjusts the brightness of dark areas in the image.
AF Tracking: Locks the focus onto your moving subject.
Panasonic DMC-FX65 - Ultra High Speed AF (Auto Focus) Capture scenes as they happen with the lightening fast Auto Focus of 0.3sec.
Panasonic DMC-FX65 - 2.7" Intelligent LCD Screen The high-resolution, 230,000-dot LCD makes it easier to frame the shot before you shoot and check the results after you shoot.
The
LCD brightness automatically adjusts to match the brightness of your
surroundings. This ensures you are able to view the images on the
screen even outdoors on a sunny day.
Panasonic DMC-FX65 - HD Movie Record your movies in high definition 1280 x 720 (motion jpeg).
Panasonic DMC-FX65 - Face Detection with Face Recognition The
DMC-FP8 features Face Recognition, a function that “remembers” faces.
Register the person from the menu by taking his/her full-face portrait
with his/her name. Once complete, if the familiar face appears into
your frame again, the camera will display the name you specified for
that person and prioritize focus and exposure so that the registered
face is bright and in sharp focus*1. Up to 3 persons' names
can be displayed at once. In playback, you can choose to display only
photos that contain a specific registered face using Category Playback.
Face Recognition makes sorting archiving incredibly easy.
This
advanced Face Detection also features Digital Red-eye Correction. The
camera takes care of the red-eye effect that often happens when
shooting with a flash, to ensure attractive facial expression*2.
The
conventional face detection system captures a face with focus and
appropriate exposure but sometimes it falls not on the face you want to
capture most beautifully when there are several faces in a frame. The
Face Recognition prioritizes focus and exposure right on the face of
your special person.
Panasonic DMC-FX65 - Power Optical IMage Stabiliser
Just
about everyone has had the experience of taking a photo at night and
hoping to capture all the drama and beauty, only to be disappointed at
the poor result.
The newly developed POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image
Stabilizer)* nearly doubles the hand-shake correction power of
conventional MEGA O.I.S. You get bright photos without blurring even
from handheld shooting at slow shutter speeds.
Taking
advantage of Panasonic's accumulated optical technologies, MEGA O.I.S.
(Optical Image Stabilizer) has been incorporated into LUMIX from the
early stage of digital camera development.
This helped to show all
digital camera users the absolute need for hand-shake compensation, and
led to its prevalence throughout the industry. And now, Panasonic has
worked on the low-frequency vibration hand-shake component, which is
physically generated when pressing the shutter button or when shooting
at night with a slow shutter speed.
* POWER O.I.S. is automatically turned on in iA Mode and can be turned on or off in Normal Picture Mode or some Scene Modes.
Panasonic DMC-FX65 - Ultra High Speed AF The ultra high-speed AF, which is about twice as fast as our previous AF systems*, has a maximum speed of approx. 0.28 second at the wide-angle setting and approx. 0.30 second
at the telephoto setting. It includes numerous re-engineering
enhancements, including a higher-speed actuator, optimized algorithms
and parallel software processing. The result is fast and accurate AF
performance for a level of shooting that you've never experienced
before. You can quickly get moving subjects in focus, such as when
you're shooting sports scenes.
