If you don't won't to read all of the specifications. The main differences between the Panasonic HX-DC2 and this model the HX-WA2 is this model has the ability to shoot high definition video under water up to a depth of 3 metres. Having owned the previous model of this camera, I can easily say it offers pure ease of use when shooting under water and are easily operated from one hand. Whether it be the beach or the pool in the back yard the Panasonic WA2 is a tough go anywhere video camera that can double up as a still camera also.
