The Panasonic DMC-TZ30 is the newest member of the acclaimed Lumix TZ family; a series that has won worldwide popularity for the versatility of an ultra wide-angle, telephoto lens and the ability to record stunning video and photos , all in a camera body so small you can slip it into your pocket.

With a phenomenal super zoom and ultra wide-angle lens that operate in both still and video recording, the Panasonic DMC-TZ30 will make sure you don’t miss out on capturing every detail of your holiday. The 24mm* wide-angle Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens boasts a 20x Optical Zoom packed into an amazingly tiny body. Intelligent Zoom even extends this ratio to a powerful 40x Optical Zoom equivalent, incorporating our Intelligent Resolution technology to maintain picture quality. The mechanical structure of the lens has been redesigned in order to create the slim camera body and the lens itself has been treated with our Nano Surface Coating to produce stunning clarity and minimise flaring and ghosts.

Panasonic DMCTZ30 - Advanced GPS
The Panasonic DMC-TZ30 features such an advanced GPS system, that it is likely to know more about your location than you do! In addition to displaying longitudes and latitudes, this tough camera can also provide area information for 203 countries or regions and landmark information for more than one million locations. The photos and videos will be automatically sorted with their locations in the virtual folder*, allowing for easy access and what’s more, the internal clock automatically adjusts to local time so that you never have to set it manually. With the Panasonic DMC-TZ30, you can also copy the map data of a designated city to an SDXC/SDHC/SD Memory Card out of a bundled map DVD which can incorporate detailed maps of over 90 countries worldwide on a scale of 1/25,000.

The Panasonic DMC-TZ30 can record Full-HD 1,920 x 1,080 50p (PAL) videos in AVCHD Progressive (MPEG-4 / H.264) format, making it easy to film subjects with fast motion or fine detail more clearly. A built in stereo microphone with Dolby Digital Creator and a fantastic wind cut function ensure that your videos will be accompanied by realistic audio, and a dedicated button lets you instantly start recording videos while shooting photos without having to make any extra settings.

Thanks to iA (intelligent auto), you can capture every fun moment without even having to think about it. Just point and shoot, then the DMC-TZ30 will do all the hard work.
