GME AE4018W is a rugged, high-performance antenna whip to suit Australia's harsh conditions. The AE4018W is GME's most popular fibreglass whip and it is commonly paired with ABL002 with a number of spring style options. The whip is made from durable fibreglass with braid and precision wound copper element, white heat shrink and polished stainless steel ferrule. At 6.6dBi gain, it is a fantastic all-round antenna for use in a multitude of applications and with the base and spring options, will suit most mounting requirements and styling preferences.

Is the GME AE4018W Antenna Right for me?

The AE4018W from GME is a 6.6dBi/medium-gain antenna, providing a more rounded, broader pattern than a high gain (8.1dBi) antenna or unity gain antenna (2.1dBi). Meaning the signal is less likely to be obstructed by obstacles such as buildings, trees or mountains. These factors make a medium gain antenna the best choice for those in suburban areas and the countryside.
